Safety Systems Specialist - Now Hiring

A Brief Overview The Safety Systems Specialist works under the direction of the Safety System Manager to develop, deploy, and maintain health and safety programs and processes to support SNF Safety and Health goals.
This position works within a Safety System team to develop, implement, and maintain programs and software applications that support the Safety, Health, Security, and Training systems.
Location:
Riceboro, GA What you will do Design, develop, and oversee corporate safety training programs.
Maintains Company management database (Velocity).
Develop and maintain corporate systems for safety records and data.
Assist with the creation and updates of corporate safety policies and procedures.
Assist with investigation needs.
Administer existing and successor SNF programs such as Velocity, MSDS Online, Brady 360, OHM, Code Red, VPP Applications, GoCanvas, Jot Forms, Adobe Sign, Vendor Management Programs Client and Customer Side, PPE Programs, Safety Survey, Audit Program, Industrial Hygiene Resources Coordination, Workers Compensation, Investigation Support, SAF-Related Policy Documents, Chemtrec Management, and Safety Related Training Content Library.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements A High School diploma is required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
(Preferably Occupational, Safety, Health, and Environment, or Business, or Engineering, or related discipline).
1-3 years of experience within a health and safety role as an administrative assistant or project management.
Experience in software management, document control, or other related fields.
Written communication - experience developing and producing a variety of written documents for an organization.
Experience in learning and development and/or training delivery.
(Learning Systems, Content Management, and Instructional Design).
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and respond in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to learn new programs quickly.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Ability to listen well, problem solve, seek input/feedback, evaluate situations,and provide solutions.
Strong creative vision with an understanding of the business objectives.
