Summary:
The Product Specialist will assist in product planning including plant loading, inventory planning, demand planning, and information needed to support the business strategies and goals.
Responsibilities:
Review inventory levels for O&G products.
Participate in discussions to prioritize product needs versus the production schedule to ensure product availability.
Track metrics to monitor inventory targets at external warehouses.
Track containers for assignment in production.
Review product inventory at external warehouses.
Participate in determining which products need to be in Make-to-Stock versus the Make-to-Order model.
Track metrics to monitor inventory targets.
Analyze data on inventory levels for warehouses based on forecast data, business trends, and demand patterns.
Discuss customer-specific forecasts with Sales to ensure changes are incorporated into plans.
Participate in the O&G S&OP Process across cross-functional teams.
Work with the Product Manager to develop quarterly and annual finished good demand forecasts.
Perform other projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field.
2 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Technical Area.
Possess excellent organizational skills, critical thinking skills, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and partners.
Must be Microsoft Office literate at the intermediate to advanced level.
A strong customer-focus with the ability to support sales and the O&G business and gain their cooperation and respect.
