Summary:
SNF Holding Company is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist.
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties professionally and supporting the corporate functions within a 24/7 manufacturing work environment.
This position will support the HR Business Partner(s) with various activities, including recruiting, employee relations, training and development, and reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Provides a full range of day-to-day HR support for the business functions, including staffing, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
Support recruiting activities with the direction of the corporate recruiter to include managing the internal recruiting process, sourcing, interviewing, and selection process, as needed.
Maintains the ATS to include maintenance, data, and associated reporting.
Engages SMEs on an as-needed basis.
Build, maintain, and cultivate partnerships and relationships with industry leaders, local colleges/universities, and community leaders for recruitment purposes.
Assists in campus recruitment efforts.
Provides support by partnering on HR processes, policies, procedures, and company initiatives engaging appropriate leadership and HRBP's as required.
Act as a resource on human resources matters, providing guidance, assistance, and support to management, supervisors, and administrators.
Prepare reports and metrics to measure human resource related functions such as collecting and reporting on statistical data such as turnover, diversity, and retention for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
Use critical thinking to solve human resource issues effectively.
Administer transactional HR functions such as status changes, investigations, discipline reviews, unemployment claims, reports, and records management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws, individual state and federal regulations.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Demonstrate skill and confidence in proactively building relationships both internally and externally.
Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest customer service, quality, and results.
Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and provide counsel to others.
Ability to anticipate future needs of the organization and develop recommended solutions.
Ability to lead and manage HR projects and partner with appropriate parties, including vendors, Marketing, Safety, IT, and other stakeholders.
Support cross-departmental teams and projects as necessary.
Additional Human Resources projects, functions, or events as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Degree in Human Resources preferred.
3-5 years HR Generalist experience or 1-2 years transactional human resources experience and 1-2 years recruitment experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
HRIS and ATS experience (Preferably WorkforceNow ADP and Monster) is required.
Extensive knowledge of policy and procedure as well as federal and state laws regarding employment practices and requirements.
