Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Coordinator.
As the Education Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young children enrolled in our Head Start/Early Head Start/ PreK program.
Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and community partners, you will ensure the delivery of comprehensive and developmentally appropriate educational services in line with Head Start performance standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ensure the development and implementation of a curriculum that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children.
Provide support, guidance, and training to teachers to ensure effective implementation of educational programs.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, collecting data to measure the child outcomes and inform continuous improvement efforts.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor the effectiveness of educational programs, ensuring compliance with Head Start standards.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including health services and family support, to provide a comprehensive approach to child and family well-being.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience in early childhood education, preferably within a Head Start or similar program.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including families, staff, and community partners.
Demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity and inclusion.
